its the largest river in michigan so some spots are always better than others. The grand has alot of different fish u can catch the most typical are lgmth bass, smlmth bass, chanel catfish, flathead catfish, carp, pike, perch, white perch, bluegill, bull head, sheep head. Other fish people try and catch are river sturgeon, bowfin, and gar pike but these are a more rare to catch but worth it if you do. U can do any kind of fishing on the grand pretty much. Ive fished off a boat for bass, river banked fished for carp and cats, and trolled for pike. all in all the grand is worth checkin out it runs through numerous locations and if its ur fist time i recomend just grabin a dozen crawlers and bank fish for fun |
